This country house hotel, is set in beautiful countryside in the south west of Scotland Rhins area of Dumfries and Galloway on the Scottish Borders. It really is a home from home with two fireplaces, books, lounges , conservatory, a bar, and an a la carte restaurant open for dinner. We have designed it to be comfortable, homely, and as if you were your own country house. We are open 7 days a week for dinner to Non Residents and Residents from 6.15.

A former vicarage set in its own gardens, in two and half acres, with views to the sea, the hotel is a good base for exploring the local area with golf clubs, beaches, secluded coves, gardens, forests, a neighbouring park with play area and walks all close and just five miles from Portpatrick, eight miles from Cairnryan for the ferry port.

The hotel has been transformed into a comfortable country house hotel to serve good food, with warm comfortable surroundings, and a personalised service, lovely gardens, a pond and sea views.

Nearby are various exotic gardens such as the Logan Botanical, Castle Kennedy, the Ardwell Estate, Glenwhan or Dunskey gardens which all are beautiful to visit.
